There’s no denying that Aucklander’s have been through a lot the past 107 days. We have done our bit to stay home, keep our distance from whanau and friends, and only gather outside (tough during weekends on weekends of rain). We’ve missed out on important moments and celebrations. Our businesses have struggled, from not being able to operate to operating in a completely contactless manner.
We could go on and on about the sacrifices made over the last 107 days, but the silver lining is we are now closer to a point we can keep our people safe when out and about. This added safety means we and eat, drink and be merry with fewer concerns and that means in-person events!
After a few long months at home, what better time to catch up with friends and support local businesses than in the lead up to Christmas. RIPA merchants in Tāmaki Makaurau have the added advantage of contactless receipts, which means there’s one less shared surface to worry about at the unique events they are hosting.
